7.1 - Creating Deals

In Zoho CRM, you can create deals by:

  • Entering data in the deal details form: You can manually fill in the Deal details gathered from various external sources.

  • Importing deals from external sources : You can gather data through various sources and import the CSV and XLS files into Zoho CRM.

 

  • Converting lead to deal : On lead conversion, contacts, accounts and deals can be created.



In the NFP CRM, you need to deal with different types of deals and each deal has its own journey and pipeline. Hence it is important to choose the deal type and pipeline whenever you create a new deal in the Zoho CRM. For example, as in the below screenshot you have the opportunity to select what deal type you want to such as Donor or Sponsor so you will be able to process the journey accordingly as we have implemented separate journey for each stage.
