Introduction on Working with Contacts
Contacts are people with whom you communicate, either in pursuit of a business opportunity or for personal reasons.
In Business-to-Consumer (B2C) scenarios, where you need to maintain continuous engagement with constituents, track profiles, their activities, and interactions with your business so far, then contacts module is especially important in the Zoho CRM whereas in Business-to-Business (B2B) it is a part of the organization details with which you are doing business.
In this NFP Zoho CRM, all your constituent management is done using your contacts module. Each contact type has its own sections populated which comprise of further information about a contact. You can have one contact record with more than one contact type. E.g. You can have a contact record with Member and Donor and can see their engagements so far with your business. This contact record also provides you the family relationships associated with a contact. You can also associate a contact to their Household account which is a custom module inside the Zoho CRM where you can see all family members associated with that particular account.
